Tuberculosis(TB)is a major medical and social problem in India and 1.96 million new cases arefound annually. Eve4ry year 3,30,000 people die due to TB which means thatover 1000 people die because of TB every day. Under Revised TuberculosisControl Program (RNTCP), Agragami has been addressing the control of spreadingTuberculosis(TB) within the community. And with that li9ne Agragami has been implementing i)ACSM at communitylevel,ii) ACSM for youth iii) Improving TB control in Urban Slum iv)Sputumcollection & transportation and v) Contact tracing under RNTCP covering apopulation of 931363 nos. within 19 Municipal Wards and 48 Gram Panchayats of Jaypur, Sonamukhi, Indus, Patrasayer,Kotulpur block and in Radhanagar G.P and Bishnupur Municipality ofBishnupur Health district.
